Children In The Middle
Children in the Middle is a class that provides education and affirmation for parents of children facing a change in their living arrangements. This class is the only Divorce Education Program to earn the Model Program rating from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Service Administration.
Family Development Associates has been providing the Children in the Middle class for over 20 years. We provide classes in several Iowa counties/communities, including: Linn County (Cedar Rapids), Johnson County (Iowa City), Blackhawk County (Waterloo), Delaware County (Manchester), Wapello County (Ottumwa), Washington County (Washington), Poweshiek County (Grinnell), Benton County (Vinton), Marion County (Knoxville), and Mahaska County (Oskaloosa).
Online Registration is available. You may register online by going to the events page of our website. Click on the month you would like to attend a class. A list of times and locations will appear.
Registration Reminders: When filling out the registration form, please ensure your contact information is filled out completely with current information.
Please leave a cell phone number, if possible. We will send you a text reminder 24 hours before your scheduled class.
If there were ever a need to cancel, or reschedule a class, we will use registration information to contact the registered attendees.
Please note payment options: We do not accept credit or debit card payments.
If you pay your class fees in cash, you will receive your certificate immediately.
If you pay your class fees with a check, your certificate will be delivered by mail.
